How I decided to be a therapist
Working at a long-term nursing hospital, I saw that many patients struggled not only with physical illness but also with anxiety, depression, and loneliness. I realized I wanted to help people heal emotionally, which led me to pursue therapy.
How I would like to help clients as a therapist
As an Occupational Therapist, I hope to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard. I aim to help them build confidence, independence, and emotional balance in their daily lives.
What my theoretical orientation is as a therapist
As an Occupational Therapist, I use a person-centered approach, focusing on empathy and client strengths. I also apply sensory integration techniques to support each client’s unique needs in daily life.
