How I decided to be a therapist
I dedicated to become a professional therapist while volunteering at Korean American Community where struggling with adjustment challenges and mental health issues. It feels fulfilling to support them to have a succeed journey and to overcome the hardship as well as mental health issues.
How I would like to help clients as a therapist
I believe everyone has their own meaningful and happy life. As a therapuetic facilitaor, I stimulate their unwaken ability and guide their journey in safe with therapeutic relation as well as professional approaches based on understanding, empathy and compassion.
What my theoretical orientation is as a therapist
My therapeutic orientation is based on CBT, EFT, Soulution Focused Therapy according to their needs. I utilized CBT techniques to promote positive behaviors and motivation for the better life. I prefer to Emotional Focused Approach to support couple and family for their happy relationship. Also I support the individuals who are confronted with life challenges or crisis by Solution Focused approach in short term treatment.
